Really great food, great service, lovely wine selection! We've eaten here over the years with my father in law who lives in Surprise. We have now moved to Peoria and met him and some friends last week. They actually take reservations which is awesome! Hardly any restaurants here do!
I ordered eggplant and my husband the pork chop. Everything was terrific. The bruschetta bread was so soft and tasty. We all had wine and dessert. What an enjoyable evening with terrific service. And very well priced!

Our friends frequent Portofino West and suggested that our group of seven have dinner. We had reservations and were seated promptly in a comfortable corner table. The veal was recommended and almost everyone ordered it.
Service was friendly and prompt. The Veal Piccata was pounded thin and perfectly cooked to melt in your mouth tenderness.
The Chicken Piccata was also ordered and was as great as the veal. The veal and chicken are served with a choice of a side of pasta or vegetables. Both were perfect to accompany the entrée.
We look forward to a return visit.

This restaurant definitely knows CLASS. The only one who still uses real tablecloths and napkins. The only one whose staff is always willing to go the extra mile.
When we want to dress well, like people USED to dress when they went out for a lovely evening meal, we always go here.
This is our favorite restaurant since we moved here 7 years ago...they never disappoint !!!

Wonderful restaurant!
I took my Mom here for an early Mother's Day dinner and it was absolutely delightful! I had the spinach ravioli and my mom had the mahi mahi and they were delicious. The ravioli was perfectly cooked with yummy cherry tomato and spinach. The mahi mahi was flaky and wonderfully flavorful. I had some Merlot and my mom had a delicious cosmopolitan. Dessert was the yummy cannoli.
I highly recommend this place, wonderful food and very attentive servers made an exceptional dining experience.

Portofino's is a step back in time and is a wonderful family-run ristorante. It felt so familiar, we half expected Stanley Tucci to come out of the kitchen and greet us. We started with some wine with our salads. For our entrées, we ordered Chicken Parmesan with penne pasta, and Spaghetti with a meat sauce, along with sausages and meatballs. Both were very tasty. For dessert, we went with the chocolate-covered raspberry ice cream Tartufo and almond-flavored Tartufo. It was a perfect way to end our evening.Since Portofino's is family run, everything seems more cozy and intimate.

Marvelous experience!
All the staff was so pleasant. Thank you Margi for being such a great waitress. My son has already asked to come back. The food was so flavorful and delicious. It made my tongue dance in my mouth. A must try. You won't be disappointed!

This is our new go to place for Italian. We were looking for a new place for date night, and I picked Portofino West.
The service was fantastic! I had the mushroom ravioli and my wife had the salmon. Both dishes were excellent. The sauces were incredible. Not to heavy, and just the right amount of seasoning.
Salmon was cooked just right.
Definitely a great little spot.
